Recording Your Messages on Hold
It is peculiar that so many companies don't realize how critical their messages on hold are – or could be! Think about it. You have a captive audience. Your clients are holding on line to get a hold of one of your representatives and they should listen carefully in the event that they come on the phone. This implies you can record a truly compelling message that gives them lots of information, and they'll hear everything. Don't make it boring though – you'll find that if your message just repeats itself and is spoken in a dull voice, you would get plenty of hang ups.
