Some agencies will play you a few different clips and promise that all of their artists are of similar quality. You want to actually listen to the clips from the person who is going to do the taping. Second, ensure you are signing up somebody who makes their rates clear. They should listen to what you need, how long your message needs to be and when you need it, and should offer an exact quote.
